'fundrasing_agreement' => '<span>This Fundraiser's Agreement
is made between the above named participant and Teens Unite Fighting Cancer, a
registered charity with the number 1118361, of Hoddesdon Gateway, High Street, Hoddesdon, EN11 8BJ. <span><br>
Please note that your place on this challenge is
not secured until this form is completed and returned along with any agreed
deposit or registration fee. The person named above agrees: <br>
Registration and Participation<br>
1. To inform Teens Unite Fighting
Cancer immediately if I am unable to take part in the event. All monies
I have paid to Teens Unite by this time are non-refundable and will be treated
as a donation<br>Minimum Fundraising Target <br>
2. To use my best endeavours to
raise at least £370.00 minimum sponsorship for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer in
order to participate in the Challenge named above<br>
3. To pay 100% of the minimum
sponsorship (£370.00) to the Charity prior to the challenge or I may be
charged the outstanding fundraising balance<br>
4. That Gift Aid payments cannot
count towards the fundraising pledge and instead will be considered as over and
above the pledged fundraising total<br>
Donations & Payment Terms <br>
5. To keep details of the names
and addresses of, and amount donated or pledged by all donors, and provide such
details to the Charity on request<br>
6. To obtain and pay to the
Charity all sums pledged/received from sponsors not later than 28 days after
receipt<br>
7. To to ensure that all donations
made by cheque from the donor are payable to Teens Unite Fighting Cancer<br>
8. To provide all donations to the
Charity, either by transferring the funds to the Charities account, posting a
cheque or hand delivering cash to the office<br>
9. To provide the Charity with a
progress report upon request<br>
10. To explain to donors that you will be
making a contribution of £50 (registration fee)<br>
11. To abide by the Codes of Practice
issued by the Institute of Fundraising <br> Fundraising <br>
12. Not to raise funds by carrying out
house-to-house collections<br>
13. Not to collect in any public place
without first obtaining a collector's licence from the local authority<br>
14. Not to collect on private property
(including shops, pubs etc) without first obtaining the permission of the owner<br>
15. Not to collect any raffle or lottery
without first contacting the Charity<br>
16. To contact the Charity well in advance
of putting on any public event<br>
17. Not to reproduce the Charity's logo,
but obtain all fundraising materials direct from the Charity<br>
18. Not to do anything to bring the name of
the Charity into disrepute<br>
19. That any information obtained/used in
the course of fundraising, will be owned by the Charity, and any other client
or charity will not be allowed to have the benefit of that information without
the Charity's consent<br>
20. That Teens Unite Fighting Cancer may
initiate legal proceedings against me to enforce their rights under this
agreement if it is found that I have breached this agreement. I will pay Teens
Unite Fighting Cancer all costs which may have been incurred. <br>
Personal data and Images<br>
21. To abide at all times by the Data
Protection Act 1998 and all other relevant legislation and regulations<br>
22. To give permission for the free use of
my name, picture, image, feedback and comments in any future publicity,
advertising, fundraising material and or promotion<br>
Date Changes and Termination <br>
23. This agreement is valid from the date
on which I sign for a period of twelve months unless terminated earlier by
Teens Unite Fighting Cancer<br>
24. Teens Unite Fighting Cancer may vary or
terminate this agreement by giving notice to the participant named above<br>
25. In the event that the challenge is
cancelled as a result of bad weather, this will be recognized as an act of
God and will not result in the refund of any deposit or registration fee. Any funds raised to this point will be considered a donation to Teens
Unite Fighting Cancer <br>Health and safety<br>
26. To fully prepare myself for the
physical challenge of the event and will not hold Teens Unite responsible for
any accident, injury or illness sustained<br>
27. If the event is run by a third party, I
am aware that this is the case and I will not hold Teens Unite responsible for
any loss, damage or claim that arises in relation to the event. Further I
acknowledge that I may be asked to sign an agreement with the third party event
organiser<br>
28. To comply with any health and safety
and other rules or guidelines issued by Teens Unite or the event organiser<br>
29. To indemnify the Charity in respect of
any costs, claims, loss or liability caused to the Charity, as a result of any
breach by the participant of the terms of this agreement. <br>

I understand that Teens Unite Fighting Cancer may
terminate my rights to fundraise at any time. <br>

'var_profile' => '<p>A team of 29 cyclists completed a 400km challenge across India to raise vital funds and awareness for Teens Unite.</p>
<p>At the forefront of the team was the charity’s CEO, Debbie Pezzani, and she was joined by Ambassadors of Teens Unite, Georgia Toffolo and Dr Alex George, as well as 26 supporters; many of whom live locally to the charity’s offices in Broxbourne. Not only did Alex cycle the challenge, he was the professional medic on hand throughout the trip.</p>
<p>Together, they have raised an incredible profit of £64,177.68 for Teens Unite. The challenge took place on 7th – 17th November, where the team cycled between 40km – 108km each day.</p>
<p>The overseas challenge began in the historic city of Jaipur and ended at the Taj Mahal. Throughout the trip, the team gave back to the local communities they visited. At schools they handed goodie bags to the children; including toiletries and colouring items. The team also planted trees and supplied a solar light to local villages.</p>
<p>Debbie Pezzani, CEO and Co-Founder of Teens Unite has said: “It was the experience of a lifetime! The team did amazingly well – it was a tough challenge, but we kept the young people we’re supporting at the forefront of our minds to keep us pedalling. The money and awareness raised will make such a difference to our work and we’re truly grateful to everyone who completed the challenge.”</p>

'var_profile' => '<p>You'll recall in August, we told you about Future Group's Director, Jamie, and his incredible challenge - facing a gruelling ten day climb to reach the summit of Kilamanjaro to raise awareness and funds for Teens Unite.</p>
<p>Jamie is back in the UK, and was back his desk the day after landing, telling us about his amazing adventure. An eight day climb to the summit and a 2 day "climb" back down. During his adventure, he experienced five climatic zones, culminating in artic conditions as he reached the top.</p>
<p>And the breathtaking pictures in the gallery show he really was on top of the world. </p>
<p>Initially, Jamie set a fundraising target of £1,000, which he and his generous supporters smashed. He raised his target to £2,000 and now, with Gift Aid, has raised a HUGE £3091.25.</p>
<p>We are so proud of Jamie, and so grateful that he chose to support Teens Unite, helping us to support more of the seven teenagers who, every day in the UK, hear the words "you have cancer", to live their best life, while others search for a cure.</p>

'var_profile' => '<p>On Sunday 14th October, a team of daredevils faced their fears and walked 15ft across smouldering hot coals or razor sharp, sterilised broken glass. It may sound tough, but thanks to specialist training and supervision from UK Firewalk, it was perfectly safe. </p>
<p>During training, participants were motivated and built up the confidence to complete the challenge. When the time came to step forward and walk, everyone was understandably nervous. However with the guidance of experts from UK Firewalk, each and every one of the participants managed to do the unthinkable and complete the challenge in support of Teens Unite. </p>
<p>Teens Unite Volunteer Grace faced her fears and took on both the Fire and Ice walk. Talking about the Ice Walk, she said "It's like walking on a really stoney beach, so it's uncomfortable but bearable!"</p>
<p>Taking part in the Fire Walk was a different experience for many of the participants, with some really feeling the heat and others not feeling a thing! It really was a case of mind over matter.</p>

'var_profile' => '<p>Teens Unite Supporter, Yumi, is taking on the challenge of a lifetime! She’s sledding with dogs, driving a team of huskies 200km across the frozen landscape of Sweden. She’s raised an incredible £2,269 for Teens Unite, and we are very grateful.</p>
<p>During the challenge Yumi managed to find some time and told us. "I hardly have any service but when we’re out sledging sometimes we get service … Luckily it’s been warm (-10) and cloudy and not too extreme. I haven’t fallen off my sledge yet! …I have an all female team: Gwen, Everest, Suka, and Jackie. I had two other dogs Nita and Anya instead of Suka and Jackie but they were going too slow we had a swap! …”</p>

<p>The children took on their own challenge.</p>
<p>They completed either a 1km or 2 km course, running, climbing, crawling, jumping and sliding around a course packed with obstacles including scramble nets, balance beams, hurdles, net crawls, ramps and monkey bars.</p>

not secured until this form is completed and returned along with any agreed
deposit or registration fee. The person named above agrees: <br>
Registration and Participation<br>
1. To inform Teens Unite Fighting
Cancer immediately if I am unable to take part in the event. All monies
I have paid to Teens Unite by this time are non-refundable and will be treated
as a donation<br>Minimum Fundraising Target <br>
2. To use my best endeavours to
raise at least £370.00 minimum sponsorship for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer in
order to participate in the Challenge named above<br>
3. To pay 100% of the minimum
sponsorship (£370.00) to the Charity prior to the challenge or I may be
charged the outstanding fundraising balance<br>
4. That Gift Aid payments cannot
count towards the fundraising pledge and instead will be considered as over and
above the pledged fundraising total<br>
Donations & Payment Terms <br>
5. To keep details of the names
and addresses of, and amount donated or pledged by all donors, and provide such
details to the Charity on request<br>
6. To obtain and pay to the
Charity all sums pledged/received from sponsors not later than 28 days after
receipt<br>
7. To to ensure that all donations
made by cheque from the donor are payable to Teens Unite Fighting Cancer<br>
8. To provide all donations to the
Charity, either by transferring the funds to the Charities account, posting a
cheque or hand delivering cash to the office<br>
9. To provide the Charity with a
progress report upon request<br>
10. To explain to donors that you will be
making a contribution of £50 (registration fee)<br>
11. To abide by the Codes of Practice
issued by the Institute of Fundraising <br> Fundraising <br>
12. Not to raise funds by carrying out
house-to-house collections<br>
13. Not to collect in any public place
without first obtaining a collector's licence from the local authority<br>
14. Not to collect on private property
(including shops, pubs etc) without first obtaining the permission of the owner<br>
15. Not to collect any raffle or lottery
without first contacting the Charity<br>
16. To contact the Charity well in advance
of putting on any public event<br>
17. Not to reproduce the Charity's logo,
but obtain all fundraising materials direct from the Charity<br>
18. Not to do anything to bring the name of
the Charity into disrepute<br>
19. That any information obtained/used in
the course of fundraising, will be owned by the Charity, and any other client
or charity will not be allowed to have the benefit of that information without
the Charity's consent<br>
20. That Teens Unite Fighting Cancer may
initiate legal proceedings against me to enforce their rights under this
agreement if it is found that I have breached this agreement. I will pay Teens
Unite Fighting Cancer all costs which may have been incurred. <br>
Personal data and Images<br>
21. To abide at all times by the Data
Protection Act 1998 and all other relevant legislation and regulations<br>
22. To give permission for the free use of
my name, picture, image, feedback and comments in any future publicity,
advertising, fundraising material and or promotion<br>
Date Changes and Termination <br>
23. This agreement is valid from the date
on which I sign for a period of twelve months unless terminated earlier by
Teens Unite Fighting Cancer<br>
24. Teens Unite Fighting Cancer may vary or
terminate this agreement by giving notice to the participant named above<br>
25. In the event that the challenge is
cancelled as a result of bad weather, this will be recognized as an act of
God and will not result in the refund of any deposit or registration fee. Any funds raised to this point will be considered a donation to Teens
Unite Fighting Cancer <br>Health and safety<br>
26. To fully prepare myself for the
physical challenge of the event and will not hold Teens Unite responsible for
any accident, injury or illness sustained<br>
27. If the event is run by a third party, I
am aware that this is the case and I will not hold Teens Unite responsible for
any loss, damage or claim that arises in relation to the event. Further I
acknowledge that I may be asked to sign an agreement with the third party event
organiser<br>
28. To comply with any health and safety
and other rules or guidelines issued by Teens Unite or the event organiser<br>
29. To indemnify the Charity in respect of
any costs, claims, loss or liability caused to the Charity, as a result of any
breach by the participant of the terms of this agreement. <br>

'var_profile' => '<p>A team of 29 cyclists completed a 400km challenge across India to raise vital funds and awareness for Teens Unite.</p>
<p>At the forefront of the team was the charity’s CEO, Debbie Pezzani, and she was joined by Ambassadors of Teens Unite, Georgia Toffolo and Dr Alex George, as well as 26 supporters; many of whom live locally to the charity’s offices in Broxbourne. Not only did Alex cycle the challenge, he was the professional medic on hand throughout the trip.</p>
<p>Together, they have raised an incredible profit of £64,177.68 for Teens Unite. The challenge took place on 7th – 17th November, where the team cycled between 40km – 108km each day.</p>
<p>The overseas challenge began in the historic city of Jaipur and ended at the Taj Mahal. Throughout the trip, the team gave back to the local communities they visited. At schools they handed goodie bags to the children; including toiletries and colouring items. The team also planted trees and supplied a solar light to local villages.</p>
<p>Debbie Pezzani, CEO and Co-Founder of Teens Unite has said: “It was the experience of a lifetime! The team did amazingly well – it was a tough challenge, but we kept the young people we’re supporting at the forefront of our minds to keep us pedalling. The money and awareness raised will make such a difference to our work and we’re truly grateful to everyone who completed the challenge.”</p>

'var_profile' => '<p>You'll recall in August, we told you about Future Group's Director, Jamie, and his incredible challenge - facing a gruelling ten day climb to reach the summit of Kilamanjaro to raise awareness and funds for Teens Unite.</p>
<p>Jamie is back in the UK, and was back his desk the day after landing, telling us about his amazing adventure. An eight day climb to the summit and a 2 day "climb" back down. During his adventure, he experienced five climatic zones, culminating in artic conditions as he reached the top.</p>
<p>And the breathtaking pictures in the gallery show he really was on top of the world. </p>
<p>Initially, Jamie set a fundraising target of £1,000, which he and his generous supporters smashed. He raised his target to £2,000 and now, with Gift Aid, has raised a HUGE £3091.25.</p>
<p>We are so proud of Jamie, and so grateful that he chose to support Teens Unite, helping us to support more of the seven teenagers who, every day in the UK, hear the words "you have cancer", to live their best life, while others search for a cure.</p>

'var_profile' => '<p>On Sunday 14th October, a team of daredevils faced their fears and walked 15ft across smouldering hot coals or razor sharp, sterilised broken glass. It may sound tough, but thanks to specialist training and supervision from UK Firewalk, it was perfectly safe. </p>
<p>During training, participants were motivated and built up the confidence to complete the challenge. When the time came to step forward and walk, everyone was understandably nervous. However with the guidance of experts from UK Firewalk, each and every one of the participants managed to do the unthinkable and complete the challenge in support of Teens Unite. </p>
<p>Teens Unite Volunteer Grace faced her fears and took on both the Fire and Ice walk. Talking about the Ice Walk, she said "It's like walking on a really stoney beach, so it's uncomfortable but bearable!"</p>
<p>Taking part in the Fire Walk was a different experience for many of the participants, with some really feeling the heat and others not feeling a thing! It really was a case of mind over matter.</p>

'var_profile' => '<p>Teens Unite Supporter, Yumi, is taking on the challenge of a lifetime! She’s sledding with dogs, driving a team of huskies 200km across the frozen landscape of Sweden. She’s raised an incredible £2,269 for Teens Unite, and we are very grateful.</p>
<p>During the challenge Yumi managed to find some time and told us. "I hardly have any service but when we’re out sledging sometimes we get service … Luckily it’s been warm (-10) and cloudy and not too extreme. I haven’t fallen off my sledge yet! …I have an all female team: Gwen, Everest, Suka, and Jackie. I had two other dogs Nita and Anya instead of Suka and Jackie but they were going too slow we had a swap! …”</p>

'var_profile' => '<p>Last year we ran two Junior Warrior Race events, in Ware and Loughton.</p>
<p>The children took on their own challenge.</p>
<p>They completed either a 1km or 2 km course, running, climbing, crawling, jumping and sliding around a course packed with obstacles including scramble nets, balance beams, hurdles, net crawls, ramps and monkey bars.</p>
