Volunteer

By gifting your time, you'll be making a lasting difference.

Did you know? Collectively, our incredible volunteers have put 4,640 hours of their hard work and time into helping us make a difference over the last 12 months.

Whether you're looking to volunteer on a regular basis or support us ad hoc with our upcoming events, we'd love to have you involved.

Join our friendly team of volunteers who gift their time across a range of roles, supporting us to improve the lives of teenagers and young adults living with, and beyond cancer.

From tending to the gardens at our current premises, to volunteering in our shop - let's find the perfect way for you to show your support.

Ways to volunteer

Women's Race

At fundraising events and challenges

If you're looking to volunteer on an ad hoc basis, we'd be grateful for your support to help our fundraising events run smoothly, and to cheer on participants at our challenges.

We always have lots to look forward to in our calendar from marathons, to community events, to large-scale fundraising gala's.

At school and in your community

Make a difference in your community - from running a stall at the local fete, organising a fundraising event, helping with bucket collections or spreading the word with leaflets and posters.

Your support will help to raise vital funds and awareness for Teens Unite, wherever you are in the UK.

School work experience or D of E Award

A limited number of placements are available throughout the year to teenagers and young adults at our site in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire for school work experience or D of E Awards.

We believe in presenting young people with opportunities to learn new skills, and gain valuable life experience.

Placements usually consist of varied tasks across the teams at our Head Office, from fundraising to marketing.

Through corporate support

From CSR days, to team building opportunities or lending your professional services or expertise.

Volunteering through your organisation is a meaningful way to step out of the office and make a valuable difference.

Whether you’re a small group or a large team, Teens Unite provides tailored volunteering opportunities to organisations that support us.

Take on the £10 Challenge

Teens Unite’s £10 Challenge is a way to volunteer your time and raise vital funds – no matter where you are in the UK.

Perfect for schools, organisations, and community groups, the challenge fulfils volunteering commitments for work experience, and Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

It's a great team-building activity that encourages creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, and a little friendly competition.

Start with £10 to kickstart your fundraising, and reinvest to reach your target.

For organisations, it's a way to unite colleagues, boost morale, and motivate teams, whilst making a valuable difference.

For students, it's a way to develop valuable life skills - from budgeting and teamwork to understanding investment and the power of giving back.
