Teens Christmas Ball (TEENS EVENT)

Double Tree Hilton, Tower Bridge

Wow - our Christmas Ball was an incredible way to round off another amazing year of Teens Unite!

It was lovely to see so many young people come together, whether it was their first Teens Unite event or their tenth, and welcome each other with open arms to celebrate the festive season.

The young people were able to catch up and introduce themselves to new friends throughout our drinks reception, before heading into the room for dinner.

Our CEO and Co-Founder Debbie welcomed us with a speech, and showed us the video from our Summer Activity Stay. This enabled the young people who have attended our stays to reminisce on the amazing memories they made, and also showed other young people what a fantastic week we had so they can get involved next time too.

We also played a game of 'heads and tails' where the young people were able to pay £5 to take part as a contribution to our Christmas Campaign, if they wanted to do so. They raised a total of over £180 which will go towards funding future events for other young people like them.

It was then time for food - a delicious roast chicken dinner, followed by a rich, chocolatey dessert.

This years event featured an amazing GIF photo booth. We would like to thank PhotoMeBooth for joining us to celebrate, their fantastic photo booth was a great hit with the young people and they had lots of fun capturing memories from the night.

After dinner, we hit the dance floor! It was great to see the young people let their hair down and encourage those who were a bit hesitant to get up and dance too.

The night flew by and before we knew it, it was time to say goodnight and wish each other a Happy Christmas.

A huge thank you to the DM Thomas Foundation for their donation towards this incredible event, and to all our volunteers, our photographer Jim and PhotoMeBooth for making this night such a special celebration for us all.
