Also having him meet other people who have a brother or a sister that experienced cancer has been a wonderful and an eye-opening experience!"</strong></p>
<p>At Teens Unite, we understand the impact that a cancer diagnosis can have on the entire family, including your siblings. That's why, for National Sibling Day, Teens Unite hosted their first ever in-person sibling day!</p>
<p>12 young people registered with Teens Unite, and their siblings, joined us for our chocolate making workshop! </p>
<p>We started the day off in true Teens Unite style with a few icebreaker games to get everyone feeling relaxed, and to start getting to know one another! After a very competitive game of splat, we were ready to begin the chocolate making! Working with their sibling, everyone created their own bespoke chocolate box. Our team took them through all of the steps - coating their moulds, making and flavoruing their ganache, and finally decorating their chocolates! Everyone worked together to try out the different favour combinations (with plenty of tasters along the way). When they were all finished, we popped the chocolates in the fridge to set, and everyone got to know one another better over a game of Who am I (chocolate themed edition, of course!). </p>
<p>It was amazing to be able to bring together so many young people, and siblings, to enjoy time together, relax and meet others who really do 'just get it'. We can't wait for the next one!</p>

Also having him meet other people who have a brother or a sister that experienced cancer has been a wonderful and an eye-opening experience!"</strong></p>
<p>At Teens Unite, we understand the impact that a cancer diagnosis can have on the entire family, including your siblings. That's why, for National Sibling Day, Teens Unite hosted their first ever in-person sibling day!</p>
<p>12 young people registered with Teens Unite, and their siblings, joined us for our chocolate making workshop! </p>
<p>We started the day off in true Teens Unite style with a few icebreaker games to get everyone feeling relaxed, and to start getting to know one another! After a very competitive game of splat, we were ready to begin the chocolate making! Working with their sibling, everyone created their own bespoke chocolate box. Our team took them through all of the steps - coating their moulds, making and flavoruing their ganache, and finally decorating their chocolates! Everyone worked together to try out the different favour combinations (with plenty of tasters along the way). When they were all finished, we popped the chocolates in the fridge to set, and everyone got to know one another better over a game of Who am I (chocolate themed edition, of course!). </p>
<p>It was amazing to be able to bring together so many young people, and siblings, to enjoy time together, relax and meet others who really do 'just get it'. We can't wait for the next one!</p>
