<br />
Sixteen young people that had been away with us on a previous Activity Stay got the chance to attend our yearly Reunion Stay! The reunion stay allows the young people to reconnect with the friends they made at the summer activity stay, and also form new friendships in the process.<br />
On the first day we hosted a cocktail &amp; mocktail making workshop, a pub quiz and a games evening, the pub quiz got very competitive and we even had our very own &lsquo;Oscar Flub&rsquo; as the team with the least points was somehow revealed as the winner! Very dramatic stuff, I know.<br />
<br />
The next day we visited the Birch for a pottery workshop, a guided nature walk and a Bread making class, a huge thank you to the Birch for hosting such an amazing day!<br />
After this the young people took part in the Thrift Shop Challenge, definitely the highlight of the reunion stay! Each group were given &pound;30 to purchase, design and then model an outfit bought at various charity shops within Hoddesdon &ndash; everyone looked fantastic and a few definitely enjoyed the spotlight a bit too much!<br />
The reunion stay finished with a Photo Scavenger Hunt followed by a reflection session, this gave the young people an excuse to go out and do something fun before thinking about what they&rsquo;d achieved over the last few days.<br />
<br />
Thank you to everyone that helped make this year&rsquo;s reunion stay so special and a huge well done to all the young people for pushing themselves, meeting new people and reconnecting with friends.<br />
<br />
By being a part of the Activity Stay, everyone was able to:<br />
- Accomplish a physical and mental challenge &nbsp;<br />
- Interact and socialise with others who get what they&#39;re going through&nbsp;<br />
- Reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness&nbsp;<br />
- Regain their independence<br />
- Learn new skills<br />
- Feel a sense of achievement, improving self-confidence and self-esteem<br />
- Enjoy new and exciting experiences<br />
- Make lifelong friends&nbsp;</p>

Sixteen young people that had been away with us on a previous Activity Stay got the chance to attend our yearly Reunion Stay! The reunion stay allows the young people to reconnect with the friends they made at the summer activity stay, and also form new friendships in the process.<br />
On the first day we hosted a cocktail &amp; mocktail making workshop, a pub quiz and a games evening, the pub quiz got very competitive and we even had our very own &lsquo;Oscar Flub&rsquo; as the team with the least points was somehow revealed as the winner! Very dramatic stuff, I know.<br />
<br />
The next day we visited the Birch for a pottery workshop, a guided nature walk and a Bread making class, a huge thank you to the Birch for hosting such an amazing day!<br />
After this the young people took part in the Thrift Shop Challenge, definitely the highlight of the reunion stay! Each group were given &pound;30 to purchase, design and then model an outfit bought at various charity shops within Hoddesdon &ndash; everyone looked fantastic and a few definitely enjoyed the spotlight a bit too much!<br />
The reunion stay finished with a Photo Scavenger Hunt followed by a reflection session, this gave the young people an excuse to go out and do something fun before thinking about what they&rsquo;d achieved over the last few days.<br />
<br />
Thank you to everyone that helped make this year&rsquo;s reunion stay so special and a huge well done to all the young people for pushing themselves, meeting new people and reconnecting with friends.<br />
<br />
By being a part of the Activity Stay, everyone was able to:<br />
- Accomplish a physical and mental challenge &nbsp;<br />
- Interact and socialise with others who get what they&#39;re going through&nbsp;<br />
- Reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness&nbsp;<br />
- Regain their independence<br />
- Learn new skills<br />
- Feel a sense of achievement, improving self-confidence and self-esteem<br />
