Leaving a gift in your Will
Your legacy. Their future.
Legacy gifts play a vital role in helping us plan for the future, develop our services and reach more young people across the UK.
After taking care of your loved ones, a gift to Teens Unite could help fund activities, residential stays, and programmes - creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, find connection and thrive beyond cancer.
As we progress with opening the first purpose-built retreat in England for 13-24-year-olds overcoming cancer, your gift means more than ever.
The difference your gift could make
Today, Teens Unite remains the only UK charity providing ongoing psychosocial support to young people overcoming cancer, from diagnosis through recovery and beyond, with life changing results.
Every month, we deliver a wide range of activities, across the UK, designed to support young people in different ways – helping them to develop skills, build confidence, improve wellbeing, connect with others, and prepare to take the next steps as they navigate life beyond treatment.
In the last 12 months, we’ve provided 2,047 opportunities for young people to access our support. Yet with a 48% increase in registrations over the last year, we’ve now reached a stage where for every young person we’re supporting, nine more are still waiting. So, your support will ensure we’re reaching more young people who need us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to tell Teens Unite if I've left a gift in my Will?
Not at all. Your gift will make a difference whether you tell us or not. However, if you're happy to let us know, we'd love the opportunity to thank you and keep you updated on the impact your future gift will have.
Can I update an existing Will?
Yes. Your solicitor or Will writer can help you update an existing Will to include a gift to Teens Unite.
Are gifts to charity exempt from inheritance tax?
Gifts left to registered charities are exempt from inheritance tax. We recommend seeking professional financial or legal advice to understand what this may mean for your individual circumstances.

You'll be making a
life-changing difference
Every pound you raise will help us to support more young people, just like Lewis - living with bone cancer at the age of 24.
I wasn't in a good place. I didn't feel understood - I felt like a burden. Like a lost cause.
But then Teens Unite came into my life. I actually have friends who now understand me and my battle. I feel like a different person. I feel more confident. I finally feel accepted for all of me.
Please watch Lewis's story to see how your support will enable more young people to thrive with, and beyond a cancer diagnosis.
