Share your story

Inspire others with your story

Every experience of cancer is different, but at Teens Unite, a diagnosis is something everyone has in common.

Sharing your story is a chance for you to express yourself, reflect on the challenges you’ve faced and continue to overcome, and say things you may not have been able to before.

It can also help other young people see that they’re not alone, and raise awareness of the unique challenges faced by young people with cancer - showing supporters why the work we do matters and the difference their support can make.

Do I have to write it down?

We've created this short form to make it as easy as possible for you to write your story and share it with us.

If this doesn't feel comfortable to you, and you would prefer to share it over a voice note or in video format - that's absolutely fine! Please email social@teensunite.org for support with this before you get started.

Where will my story be shared?

We'll feature your story on the dedicated section of our website. It could also be used on our social channels, and in our marketing materials.

If you would like to know more about how and where your story will be showcased, feel free to contact us:

T: 07715 562 709
E: teens@teensunite.org

What happens next?

Once you've shared your story with us, we'll need at least five images to go alongside it from before your diagnosis, and during your cancer journey. You can email these to social@teensunite.org.

Once we have these, we'll be in touch to let you know when it will be shared.
