About the Event
When your child is diagnosed with cancer, it impacts the whole family – and we know that includes you. That’s why we’ve created The Parent Space, a relaxed online meet-up just for parents like you. It’s a space to connect with others who understand, share your experiences, and find a little support along the way..
This group gathers every month, giving you a consistent place to connect and share experiences. These events will offer an inclusive and supportive space for parents to connect, listen, and relate. There’s no pressure to share – join in as much or as little as you like.
As part of Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month, this session will place a particular focus on parent voices - exploring how lived experience can help shape change. Alongside open conversation, we’ll reflect on the different ways parents can use their voice, from sharing stories and raising awareness to influencing services…
