Brace yourself for one of the toughest full‑day treks in the English Lake District!
This epic 15 mile (24 km) challenge traverses eight formidable fells, including Scafell Pike, Bowfell, Esk Pike, Ill Crag, Broad Crag, Great End, Allen Crags, and Rossett Pike.
Starting from the Old Dungeon Ghyll in Great Langdale, the route follows rugged ridge lines, rocky passes, and moorland terrain before returning via late-day views across the High Fells. With over 3,000 ft (900 m) of ascent, rocky paths underfoot, and long stretches of constant elevation changes, this is a serious physical challenge.
You’ll be fully supported by experienced mountain leaders who keep the group safe, motivated, and on pace. Upon booking, you’ll receive a detailed PDF pack with training plans, kit advice, and event logistics to ensure you’re ready for this mountainous adventure.
