What a busy weekend we had! We opened the doors to The Jailbreak Cafe and Shop for a special Saturday opening on 29th January and what a success it was!
With our usual opening hours being Mon-Fri, it was lovely to be able to welcome local families, runners, walking groups and residents of a weekend. We'll now be opening one Saturday each month, so keep an eye on our social media where we'll announce when the next one will be!
Our super Saturday opening raised an incredible £1,500, which will enable eight young people to challenge themselves at Herts Young Mariners Base - an outdoor activity centre.
They'll take part in rock climbing, archery and rafting; and for many of the young people, this will be their first opportunity to start testing and rebuilding their physical strength in a safe and supportive environment, following treatment. They will come together with others their age in a similar situation, where they support and encourage eachother and leave with new friends and a real sense of achievement.
Thank you to all our wonderful customers, for helping us to raise such an amazing amount.

Detailed below are our events for Teens, Volunteers, Fundraising and Challenges.
Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
