Our annual Santa Dash took place on 18th December 2022. The event, organised in partnership with LK Fitness, saw 386 Santa’s brave the snow, and complete a 5km route through Hoddesdon.
All ages were welcome – with families and their fury friends coming together to walk, jog or run their way across the finish line.
All proceeds from the event will help Teens Unite to support more teenagers and young adults who are overcoming cancer and the challenges it brings.
Ticket sales from this year’s Santa Dash raised an incredible £3,949 (pre-costs). These funds will enable 40 young people to benefit from a face-to-face event with us, where they will spend the day with others their age who genuinely understand. They will learn new skills, rebuild their confidence, make friends, and realise they are not alone in the struggles they are facing.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the Santa Dash this year – despite the snow and cold weather, you still put on your trainers, pulled on your Santa suits, and made a difference. Our extra special thanks go to Lucy Kennedy, who helped to organise and run the event – it’s not an easy task, but once again, she made it a big success.
During these difficult times we all find ourselves in, it means so much to have the support of the local community behind us.

Detailed below are our events for Teens, Volunteers, Fundraising and Challenges.
Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
