Teens Unite’s infamous ‘It’s a Knockout Family Fun Day’ made a welcome return on Sunday 16th July, Wormley Playing Fields, which bought the local community together, and saw children and adults take to the inflatable assault course in a bid to be crowned the winning team.
Over 148 children took part in the junior session, followed by nine adult teams, which included local businesses Kinovo, High Leigh, Ladybird Solutions and VolkerFitzpatrick.
Each of them fully embraced the giant inflatables, hysterical games, and oversized props.
The local community spectated as the antics took place on the inflatable assault course, and enjoyed the selection of stalls and games on site.
By taking part in Teens Unite’s ‘It’s a Knockout’ event, participants helped to raise vital funds and awareness for Teens Unite, helping us to provide more of the activities which bring young people who have been diagnosed with cancer, together.
We would like to thank those involved in Teens Unite’s It’s a Knockout event – from everyone who entered the assault course, to all the amazing volunteers who helped on the day, we couldn’t have done it without your hard work.
At Teens Unite, we understand the importance of community - our work is focused on creating a community for young people who have been diagnosed with cancer. It’s a Knockout was an event that brought our local community together, and it was wonderful to see.

Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
