With COVID restrictions finally lifted, we are delighted to start offering our face-to-face events to the young people once again, alongside our digital activities which will continue to be a part of our weekly calendar.
The first of our face-to-face events brought together nine young people for an adventure at Go Ape, Alexandra Palace. Initially, our face-to-face events will take place in outdoor settings, but it's amazing to be able to bring the teens back together in person once again.
Everyone conquered the high ropes, reaching the highest level, leaping onto the Tarzan swing and flying down the zip lines! The course was a physical and mental challenge, but we are so proud of everyone who attended and completed the course with everyone’s support and encouragement along the way. Everyone felt a real sense of accomplishment along with other young people in a similar situation.
After working up an appetite, we refuelled with a picnic together in a lovely shaded area of the beautiful Alexandra Palace garden park before we tried our luck with the 10 hole Pitch & Putt golf course. It was a friendly competition, where the teens could spend more time getting to know eachother and forming friendships.
Following the event, Ciara said "It was so great to see everyone and I challenged myself way more than I expected!".

Detailed below are our events for Teens, Volunteers, Fundraising and Challenges.
Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
