Last Friday, we were delighted to receive a visit from Luke Connell of LC Wealth Management. Luke is a friend and supporter of Teens Unite and is always looking for ways to support us.
When Teens Unite’s Healthcare benefits were due for renewal, we asked Luke to help us carry out a market review and ensure that we were getting the best value for money. Although Luke could not help us beat the renewal premium for the cover we had, he was able to do something else which made a significant difference.
As an Associate Partner of St James’s Place Wealth Management, we were able to transfer the management of our plan to Luke, who then very kindly gifted back the renewal commission that he would receive, to the Charity. This resulted in a payment to Teens Unite of £352.52, which will make a big difference in helping us to ensure that no young person faces the effects of cancer alone.
Luke popped in this morning to join us for breakfast and presented us with a cheque. While he was here, he also dropped off a large box of goodies for the young people who will be attending this year’s Reunion Stay and took away some information about this year’s Junior It’s a Knockout event for the Barnet Azzurri Football team where he is a coach. We hope to welcome these young guys to the event.
Luke is about long term-relationships, really getting to know his clients, and supporting them to make sure that they always get the best advice. We are looking forward to a long-term relationship with Luke and thank him for the support he has given to Teens Unite in the last year. If you need advice on tax, investments, retirement or protecting you and your estate, give Luke a call.

Detailed below are our events for Teens, Volunteers, Fundraising and Challenges.
Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
