Brain Tumour Awareness Month

Brain Tumour Awareness Month

Today, 1st March, marks the beginning of Brain Tumour Awareness Month. According to Cancer Research UK, there were over 11,000 new cases of brain tumours diagnosed in the UK in 2015.

Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing stories of some of the young people we support who have been diagnosed with a Brain Tumour, to raise awareness of the effects it can have on a young person’s life.

Please take a moment to read James’s story – he was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour at 16 years old. With your support, we’ve been able to give James the opportunity to meet and spend time with other young people who know exactly how he is feeling: “I cannot explain how much Teens Unite have done for me. They have built me up so much in every aspect of life.”
