B3Living Donates over £500 to Teens Unite

Teens Unite has received a generous donation of £560 from B3Living; a housing association based in Hoddesdon.

Staff at B3Living voted for Teens Unite as their Charity of the Year for 2018-2019. During this time, the organisation donated £5 for every feedback form completed at their staff away day.

Claire Howe, Executive Director (Corporate Services), B3Living said: “Our staff at B3Living were passionate about supporting Teens Unite; a charity based locally to our offices, who are making a big difference to young people who’s lives have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis.”

The funds donated to Teens Unite, contributed towards the charity’s annual Family Fun Day held at Paradise Wildlife Park.

The day was an opportunity for families to spend valuable, quality time together and meet other families in a similar situation to themselves who genuinely understand.

Those attending the day were able to explore the wildlife park at their leisure, before coming together for a BBQ lunch and the chance to get up close and personal with some of Paradise Wildlife Park’s smaller animals.

Debbie Pezzani, CEO and Co-Founder of Teens Unite has said: “Cancer doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed, but those closest to them. It was heart-warming to see so many young people and their families coming together with others in a similar situation. We would like to thank B3Living for kindly supporting such a special day.”
