World Cancer Day 2019

Today, we are joining people from all around the globe in celebrating World Cancer Day – a day to come together and empower each other to raise awareness about cancer and make a difference to those overcoming its effects.

Teens Unite is here to support young people through their journey with cancer from diagnosis, through treatment, remission and beyond. We are here to offer this support on World Cancer Day and all year round.

On World Cancer Day 2019, we are asking our supporters to come together and make a pledge today that will help us to make a lasting difference all year round.

Why not swap that cup of coffee that you don’t really need for a monthly £3 donation to Teens Unite? By going without a coffee for just one day each month, you can help us to fund workshops and activities for young people overcoming cancer, where they’ll be able to meet others who truly understand what they are going through. Please click here to become a Teens Unite Regular Giver today.

Although we are entirely self-funded and receive no government funding, we are proud to say that for every pound you give, 86p goes directly towards supporting young people overcoming cancer.

Watch the video below to see how big a difference you can make by coming together and pledging your support this World Cancer Day.

"Teens Unite brought back the life in me. I started to go to events, started to join activities and this helped me to overcome the illness. Everyone at Teens Unite - even just with a smile - have healed my wounds." - Yassine, diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma
