We are so incredibly lucky to have local supporters who pull out all the stops to raise vital funds for the young people we support.
The amazing folk at Wormley Football Club hosted a Charity Golf Day, and raised £500. The teams took themselves down to Cheshunt Golf Club to enjoy 18 holes on the par 71, 6,635 yard course. It was a hot day, so no doubt they cooled themselves down with a drink or two when they got to the 19th hole!
This money could help five young people through one of our creative activities - battling cancer takes both a physical and emotion toll, it's a real struggle to even accept your diagnosis. "Art" is a powerful way to express emotion, it can relieve a lot of stress, anger and sadness. In our creative activities, beneficiaries work alongside professional artists, and use the creative process to express and communicate how they feel. The process is recogised to hel them cope wth symptoms, stress and trauma, it enhances their cognitive abilites and provides them with a real sense of achievement, it improves their self-confidence and rebuilds their self esteem.
Thank you so much to Wormley FC and everyone who supported the event. The money you raised will ensure that we are able to support more young people fighting the long term, and often hidden effects of cancer.

Detailed below are our events for Teens, Volunteers, Fundraising and Challenges.
Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
