Trustees on the Board of Teens Unite serve a three-year term. In January this year, Gary Couch stepped down as Chair of Trustees, and incoming Chair Alessandra Bellini took over.
During his term, Gary has seen many changes, not least, income for the Charity exceeding £1m for the first time ever. Over the period of his leadership, the Charity has taken significant steps forward in a number of areas, including the growth of the operational team, the engagement of some very powerful corporate partnerships as well as the development of a five year strategy which includes the launch of our Capital Appeal to build the House of Teens Unite – the first of its kind in mainland UK.
As Gary steps down from his role as Chair of Trustees, he takes on a role which absolutely plays to his strengths. He will be leading the Committee tasked with delivering the House of Teens Unite. This Committee with be developing strategy and conducting negotiations ensuring that this project completes on time and on budget.
Incoming Chair, Alessandra Bellini, brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise in marketing and customer management which has seen her increase brand awareness on a global scale and secure the position of some of the UK’s leading brands as household names. Under her stewardship, who knows where our brand will go!
These are exciting times for Teens Unite, as the Board is further strengthened by the appointment of Steve Allen, a Financial Director with many years’ experience. Steve already provides support to the Operational Management team at Teens Unite, setting the annual budget, and monitoring our financial performance throughout the year to ensure we remain on course.
Everyone at Teens Unite extends grateful thanks to Gary for the years of service he has given and extends a very warm welcome to Alessandra and Steve. We are very excited to see how far we go in the next three years.

Detailed below are our events for Teens, Volunteers, Fundraising and Challenges.
Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
