This week we were introduced to the lovely folk at Abbotts Travel, based in the busy, bustling George Lane, South Woodford. The shop has been there for decades, growing from a booking service for rail travel and theatre trips to the personalised, worldwide travel business specialists that they are today.
We met with Julian who is the owner, having taken over the business from his Father and his Grandfather before him, and Danny, their Business Development Manager. It was great to hear how the business has grown, and how it has a very loyal customer base – not surprising when you see how many awards the team have won for their outstanding performance.
At Teens Unite, we are very fortunate to be gifted holiday stays at amazing destinations for auction prizes at events like our now infamous Christmas Gala Dinners, and we’re looking forward to working with the team at Abbotts Travel to include flights with these stays, creating stunning packages for our supporters to win.
Abbotts Travel will be sharing information about our Events with their customers, and we look forward to welcoming them to an event soon.
In the meantime, if you have a travel goal, then you should give Julian and his team a call, pop in and see them or check out their excellent website where you can also register to receive their monthly newsletter. They’re a team of specialists whose advice comes from personal experience and a limitless enthusiasm for seeing the world.

Detailed below are our events for Teens, Volunteers, Fundraising and Challenges.
Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
