The day of the 2019 Strictly Dancing Ball is getting closer and closer, so it's time to introduce you to five more dancers!
Following months of hard work, determination and rehearsals, these five incredible individuals will be taking to the dance floor at Chigwell Marquee on 22nd June for the Teens Unite Strictly Dancing Ball. Alongside their rehearsals, they've also been working hard to fundraise for Teens Unite, to help us to continue bringing together young people diagnosed with cancer to ensure they don't have to face their battle alone.
It's time to introduce you to Daniel, Felice, Jana, Lee and Julie...
Dance Partner: Carys Woods
Dance: Salsa
"I have always had an interest in Strictly Come Dancing and thought I could do a bit of that. They make it look so easy, but after starting my own dancing, I can see how much practise they must put in. I'm really enjoying my new hobby and even better, I get to do it for such a good cause!"
Profession: Director, Jolly Tom
Dance Partner: Hannah Bonner
Dance: Charleston
"I have always been a very shy individual and afraid to perform in public, but Teens Unite have given me the opportunity to overcome my fears in aid of a great cause. They say the best way to overcome your fears is to make yourself look stupid, so here it goes..."
Dance Partner: Connor McCabe
Dance: Jive
"I've always loved watching Strictly Come Dancing. I'm feeling excited and really nervous, and I'm wondering if I will ever remember the whole routine; but it doesn't matter as it's for a wonderful cause. I have two healthy teenagers myself and I'm reaching the big 50 this year, so I wanted to do something to make a difference and the Strictly Dancing Ball seemed perfect."
Dance Partner: Rebecca Normand
Dance: American Smooth Viennese Waltz
"I danced the Charleston in last year's Strictly Dancing Ball with a severe sprain. I'm back this year and feeling nervous, unlike before! The reason for taking part again? Simple... to raise money and have fun doing it, making the audience laugh and cry!"
Profession: Chief Cook and Bottle Washer
Dance Partner: Lee Boocock-Stephenson
Dance: American Smooth/Foxtrot
"Apart from trying to remember the steps to my routine, I have enjoyed every minute of the experience and the opportunity to support Teens Unite. Although I'm out of my comfort zone, it has been a fantastic journey and all for an amazing charity."

Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.

Jess, 22, Teen, Acute Myeloid LeukaemiaWhen Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
David, Parent to Elliot, 18, Non-Hodgkins LymphomaI needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
