Reunion Stay 2019 - Day One

There has been a buzz around Mill Hill School today and it could have a little something to do with the first day of this year's Reunion Stay. It's been all we hoped for and so much more.

Over 20 young people supported by Teens Unite, have been brought back together, to see the friends they've made and make some new ones along the way.

All of the teens joining us this week, have been on one of our previous Activity Stays, and this is an opportunity for them to enjoy more experiences together, spend valuable time with others their age in similar situations, learn new skills, regain their confidence, self-esteem and independence and make amazing memories together.

Once everyone had arrived and settled in to their rooms, we started the stay with some ice breaker games. The teens worked in teams to try and build the tallest balloon tower, using the smallest number of balloons.

After dinner, it was time to put our thinking caps on, ready for the Reunion Stay Quiz, hosted by Teens Unite's Operations Manager, Lesley.

It's heartwarming to see so many young people, volunteers and staff come together for what we're sure will be an unforgettable four days.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to keep updated on all of the exciting activities we have planned and we look forward to telling you all about day two tomorrow.
