Loughton Cricket Club, IG10 1NQ
This will be a day of 2 halves bringing two of Teens Unite’s most popular events together for a fun-filled day for all ages.
The morning will provide the Teens Unite Junior Warrior Race. An event for children aged 4 – 13 years to take on their own challenge, get muddy and complete either a 1 or 2km race, conquering over 15 obstacles along the way. Alongside this, we create a great family atmosphere with further fundraising opportunities for the whole family to enjoy.
In the afternoon, the Teens Unite infamous "It’s a Knockout Family Fun Day" is returning to Loughton for the second year. Teams will compete against each other on the inflatable assault course overcoming a series of challenges and obstacles, while families and friends can enjoy the selection of stalls on offer and BBQ on the day.
In terms of volunteering opportunities, the day will be split into morning and afternoon sessions, which are:
Marshalls - We are seeking a number of volunteers to marshal the Junior Warrior Race to ensure participants stay on course and are safe. (AM only)
Stall Hosts to share the hosting of the BBQ; Drinks & Snacks stall; Children’s Toys stall and Tokens/merchandise.
Photographers to capture the capture the special moments of this event?
First Aiders - We are seeking qualified first aiders to be on hand in case of need.
Bucket Collectors - We are seeking volunteers who can wander around the event engaging with supporters to collect donations and take the opportunity to hand out information leaflets about the charity.
Set up/pack down – Extra pairs of hands are always welcome.
If you're interested in any of these opportunities, please give us a call, drop us an email, or use the "volunteer" button to the right.
