We have proudly launched a capital appeal to open the UK mainland’s first purpose-built Retreat, specifically for 13-24 year olds who have battled or are battling cancer. We hope you will support us every step of the way.

The House of Teens Unite, will be a home with a heart, providing a welcome escape from everyday life, where the young people can meet others their age in a similar situation and gain strength from sharing experiences with others.

Currently, 13,886 teenagers and young adults are living with cancer and the long-lasting impact it leaves behind, in England alone. A further 1,399 in Scotland and 825 in Wales. Seven more teenagers will hear the words ‘you have cancer’ today and seven more tomorrow. The figures continue to rise every day and a purpose built Retreat will help us fulfil our commitment to rebuilding the lives of these young people following a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The short-term accommodation will help us reach out to those who live too far away to attend one of our day workshops or activities. The young people will be able to meet new friends, learn new skills, rebuild their confidence and self-esteem and have activities to look forward to, all under one roof.
