To celebrate Friendship Day 2018, we asked some of the young people we support about the friendships they have formed through Teens Unite. Mikhaila and Eilish met at the 2016 Activity Stay and it has been a pleasure to watch their friendship blossom. Here's what Eilish had to say about their friendship:
"I met Mikhaila at the Activity Stay two years ago, which I was really nervous to go on! We clicked straight away and before we knew it she was convincing me to do my second cycle challenge from Vietnam to Cambodia!
We had an amazing trip cycling and have some amazing memories from cheering each other on cycling to exploring the temples in Cambodia! Since then we’ve been on our first relaxing girls holiday to Spain, talk everyday on the phone and I know if I ever need someone to chat to Mikhaila is always at the end of the phone! We meet up frequently to catch up and I honestly could not imagine my life without her now.
It’s crazy to think if neither of us had been diagnosed with cancer, our paths would probably never have crossed, so thank you cancer and Teens Unite for allowing to meet one of my best friends, we have you to thank!"

Detailed below are our events for Teens, Volunteers, Fundraising and Challenges.
Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
